Functional Training is truly individualized personal training that takes the client and how they move into account. At Functional
Training LA (FTLA), we do not give you the same workout you see everywhere, we design a workout that will solve the problems
and frustrations you have in reaching your goals,
Most fitness routines are derived from bodybuilding. If your goal is to just increase muscle mass, that's fine and we
can design a kick-ass muscle building routine for you. But, if you have other goals such as to sharpen your prowess on the
golf course, ski-slopes, tennis court, or just your day-to-day life, functional training is a more effective approach to lifting
in that it mimics movements actually involved in sports and everyday activity.
Rather than working on muscle groups in isolation, Functional Training focuses on exercising and strengthening several
muscles and joints together to help burn calories more efficiently and help people perform their daily activities with greater
ease and less pain and discomfort.

An Integrated Flexibility Specialist has a dynamic understanding of the integrated flexibility continuum as well as a
vast range of hands-on stretching techniques and the know-how to apply these techniques to a variety of clients for real-life
results.
Your Sessions will include:
A detailed assessment of what muscles are tight and which ones are weak
A comprehensive program and corrective strategy to improve your flexibility.
Howie will apply the techniques you need based on the results from the all inclusive assessment...which may include:

Static Stretching
Active Stretching
Dynamic Stretching
Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching
